Frankincense & Myrrh - Mystic Temple Resin incense comes from fragrant trees in the coastal mountains of Somalia, known as Carterii Sacre blended with Myrrh from Ethiopia and Somalia. This quality is used in fine church incenses. It is available in 1/2-ounce zip poly bags with a gold label explaining the how to burn on charcoal tablets on the reverse side, 1-pound zip plastic bags. The 1/2-ounce packets will have smaller pieces. The bulk size of Frankincense will range from larger tears as shown to smaller pea-size, tiny chips, and some powder. Resin incense is burned on charcoal tablets (sold separately) or in an electric bakhoor to release the fragrance. Only use a charcoal-safe burner - no wood or plastic.
